Nero1 Portable ½ Lambda · Product source ↗The Nero1 is an end-fed half-wave wire antenna for CB. An L/C matching box couples the high-impedance radiator to the coaxial feed. The 5.4 m wire can be raised on a fibreglass pole; this collection pairs it with the Spiderbeam 10 m pole.
The documented version has a fixed RG8x foam cable approximately five metres long with a PL plug. According to the product description, cable routing also affects matching. SWR figures therefore describe an adjusted installation rather than guaranteeing every setup. This entry covers the Nero1, not the later Nero1 Plus with a modular cable.
