I’m Ajdin. I want to understand what’s behind it.
I’m the person behind HB3YAQ: Ajdin Hadzic from Lucerne. My interests include amateur radio, reception technology, digital radio and IT. I’m especially curious where these meet — when a radio signal, software and an idea of my own become something you can explore.
I want you to learn, try things out and take something useful away.
Different equipment. Different ways into radio.
My collection spans handheld radios, scanners and SDR receivers through to PMR and CB equipment. It includes the Icom ID-52E Plus, AOR AR-DV10 and Uniden SDS100EDNP, as well as the SDRplay RSP1B and Nooelec NESDR SMArt v5. That variety reflects my curiosity about the different ways radio can be explored.
I like to look closely at a device. What can it do? Which connections, software and accessories go with it? That is why the equipment here has detailed descriptions and traceable specifications. I want you to be able to form your own view.
Get to know my collection →Radio and IT belong together for me.
My Swiss-SDR project brings radio and software together. What interests me is making technology accessible and helping others get started with reception.
Explore my Swiss-SDR project →“That’ll do” rarely feels finished to me.
While building this website, I’ve revisited the logo, navigation, images and the structure of entire sections. Details matter to me. The design should feel coherent, the controls should make sense and a text should answer a question properly.
That same care shapes the learning section. I want clear explanations, useful drawings and tools that let you change things yourself. Calculate an antenna length, adjust a filter in the simulated SDR lab or work through digital radio setup step by step — that is what this section is for.
Understand something new →Look more closely
Understand functions, recognise differences and trace technical claims back to their sources.
Try it yourself
Change a setting and understand its effect. That is what the calculators and learning labs are here for.

This website should help you too — whether you are starting out, exploring equipment or tracing a fault.
