The George II is a mobile CB transceiver for AM, FM and the USB/LSB single-sideband modes. It provides frequency indication, adjustable RF power and a clarifier alongside the channel display. Four memories and scanning functions provide quick access to preferred channels.
Receive controls include ASC, manual squelch, RF gain and several interference filters. Microphone gain, VOX, Noise Gate, echo and Talkback adjust voice transmission and monitoring. An electronic SWR meter supports antenna matching checks. External speaker, PA and VOX microphone connections accommodate different station or vehicle installations.
