The RSP1B is a USB receiver operated through SDR software on a computer. It covers 1 kHz to 2 GHz and can display up to 10 MHz of spectrum simultaneously. Tuning, demodulation, filtering and recording are handled by software; the receiver module has no display or speaker of its own.

Its front end combines switched preselection filters with selectable broadcast-rejection filters. A steel enclosure shields the electronics. Software-controlled bias-T power can supply compatible active antennas or preamplifiers through the coaxial cable. SDRplay provides SDRuno, SDRconnect and an API for other applications.

Features & equipment

  • Continuous reception from longwave to 2 GHz.
  • Switched low-pass, band-pass and high-pass preselection filters.
  • Separate rejection filters for mediumwave, FM broadcast and DAB.
  • Software-controlled bias-T supply at the antenna input.
  • Steel enclosure and temperature-compensated reference oscillator.
  • SDRuno for Windows; SDRconnect for Windows, macOS and Linux.
