The AE125H is an analog handheld scanner for airband, professional radio and other services. Coverage extends across several sections from 25 to 960 MHz; airband supports selectable 8.33 and 12.5 kHz channel spacing. Its 500 memories are organised into ten banks for separating regions, services or monitoring interests.
Close Call detects strong nearby transmitters without requiring their frequency in advance. Seven preset service searches simplify exploration. CTCSS/DCS decoding, channel labels and ARC125 PC programming complement scanning. The AE125H uses two AA cells and a removable BNC antenna.
