The AR-DV10 is a standalone wideband receiver covering 100 kHz to 1300 MHz. It combines a superheterodyne front end with digital signal processing and receives AM, FM, SSB and CW alongside numerous digital voice formats. Digital auto mode identifies supported signal types; TETRA reception refers to direct operation between terminals.

Three VFOs, 2000 memories and separate search banks help organise signal searches. Audio, discriminator and I/Q recordings can be stored on microSD. I/Q recordings can subsequently be examined on a computer using SDR#. The receiver uses a removable battery and has separate external-power, earphone and USB connections.

Features & equipment

  • Automatic detection of DMR, NXDN, dPMR, P25 Phase 1, D-STAR, C4FM, Alinco EJ47U and D-CR.
  • TETRA reception in Direct Mode (DMO).
  • RAN, NAC, colour-code and time-slot filtering for the relevant digital formats.
  • Priority reception, frequency skip, level/noise and tone squelch.
  • microSD also supports backups, memory transfers and firmware updates.
  • COSPAS-SARSAT decoding is a separately licensed option.
