Product source ↗The programming kit listed here as PRG-15 is sold by Midland as PRG-G15 under product code C1131. It combines the connecting cable with downloadable programming software for G15, G18 and Arctic radios. For the G18 Pro it configures channel and operating parameters.
Depending on the radio, settings include CTCSS, transmit time-out, VOX, Roger Beep, squelch and voice announcements. On the G18 Pro, the compander and FM broadcast function are also configured in software. Midland’s support area provides drivers, software releases and dedicated instructions for the newer G15 Pro/G18 Pro family.
