The G18 Pro is an analog PMR446 handheld with a backlit LCD, metal chassis and IP67 protection. Its 99 memory positions include the 16 PMR446 channels and 83 preset combinations. These additional positions expand channel organisation rather than the allocated frequency band.
CTCSS and DCS provide tone-code selection, while scan, priority search, monitor and VOX complement the controls. The PRG-G15 programming kit configures additional settings, including the compander and FM broadcast radio. A screw-secured Motorola two-pin connection accepts compatible Midland microphones and headsets.
