TROUBLESHOOTING WORKSHOP
DMR stays silent?
Check channel, RF link and network separately — through a repeater or your own Pi-Star hotspot.
For DMR with AnyTone and Pi-Star. Obtain repeater parameters from its operator. Make short transmit tests only when authorised, on a permitted, clear frequency.
Check the network login
Your observation confirms RF input; network login is the next unresolved point.
- Check internet connectivity, selected master and your own DMR ID in the Pi-Star configuration actually in use. With DMRGateway, also check its relevant network configuration.
- For BrandMeister use your personal hotspot security password from SelfCare. It is not your website login password. Keep secrets out of screenshots or public test notes.
What to look for next
Once login is confirmed, check talkgroup routing. Successful login alone does not confirm voice traffic.
