No reception?

From a silent speaker to an overloaded SDR: work through the receiving chain.

For analogue voice and SDR reception. Use a known station that is actually active. An empty channel alone does not prove a fault.

Narrow down browser audio

Waterfall and sound are separate parts of playback. A moving image is not an audio test.

  1. Explicitly activate the audio control again and check tab mute, page volume and the selected output device.
  2. Play a known audio source in the same browser. If it works, compare a second browser and record any receiver error message.

Return to the frequency and mode comparison once audio is audible.
