QSO

In a logbook, a QSO is a radio contact. Date, time, other station and mode help identify the particular contact.

Also found under: QSO · Funkkontakt · Radio Contact

A concrete example

Record the contact with its UTC time, the other station’s callsign, band and mode. Reception without an exchange is documented separately as a listening report.

What to keep in mind

A QSO entry alone is not confirmation from the other station.
