Product source ↗The HM-222HLWP is a speaker microphone with a water-protected housing and screw-secured two-pin connector. Its large speaker and internal enclosure volume are designed for strong voice reproduction. Achievable volume nevertheless depends on the particular radio and microphone combination.
Icom lists it for radios including the IC-T10 and IC-F29SDR. On the F29SDR, the increased external audio rating applies only to units with a U mark on the serial-number label. Protection of the complete connected system follows the radio used.
