Icom service manual (PDF) ↗CS-F4029DR is the cloning software explicitly named for the IC-F4029SDR in Icom’s service manual. It is used there to write the channels and configuration required for alignment into the radio. The name without the “S” is therefore part of this model’s documented service toolchain.
Before the adjustment software is started, CS-F4029DR prepares the radio parameters. Icom requires the original memory data to be backed up because loading the alignment configuration overwrites it. This software differs from CS-F4029ADJ, which subsequently handles calibration values.
