Tune your own signal
Combine observation, mode, tuning and filtering in a final simulation.
Your target is specifically the USB signal to the left of centre. Set mode, tuning and filter yourself. Then check your setting using the button below the lab. You may use hints and retry at any time — the goal is understanding.
In this model, the challenge passes when USB is selected, tuning is within 0.15 kHz of −3.0 kHz, at least 95% of the signal extent lies inside the filter, width is at most 3.6 kHz and no other modelled signal area overlaps. A possible starting width is 2.4 kHz. These thresholds are teaching criteria, not a measurement standard for real reception.
Your turn.
Complete the simulation, then answer the transfer question. Both are needed to finish this step. Completing the whole path also requires the five earlier knowledge checks.
