Verify actual success
An indicator, acknowledgement and conversation are different things.
A repeater acknowledgement can confirm part of the radio path. A network dashboard entry can show that data arrived. An actual contact requires a reply from another station and a meaningful exchange.
Record which test works: local RF, network path, reception or two-way conversation. When troubleshooting, change one parameter at a time. Log only an actual contact, using the correct UTC time, band and mode.
Your turn.
Imagine the dashboard shows your transmission but nobody replies. Follow DMR troubleshooting through destination and return-path checks. Note what remains unconfirmed.
